For all interested in a short trip to Israel, this is an excellent program. Your summer will start with one week of orientation in the States after which you will fly as a team to Israel.  Upon arrival, you will get settled in and begin the summer of work, studies and fun!

Coursework  The class that you will be taking in this program is called Cross-Cultural Communications.  You will have class time during your orientation, and then throughout the summer you will have various papers due.

Travel  During the summer you will be traveling around the land of Israel (there are a total of 10 travel days), learning and seeing the land of the Bible.

Daily Routine  Your days will be spent working on the kibbutz (depending on where workers are needed: factory, garden, chicken houses, etc...).  A work day can start anywhere from 5:00 to 7:00 am and will typically end by 12:30 pm.  Because the weather gets so hot (up to 110 degrees), many Israelis take a nap or just stay inside for the afternoon.  The exception is the swimming pool, which is the place to be in the hot summer!  Your evenings will typically be spent visiting the friends you are making throughout the summer or participating in group activities with BII.  Come and have the experience of your life!
