Baptists for Israel Institute (BII) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing Christians with transformative educational experiences in the land of Israel. Since 1974, BII has been helping students and believers connect with the biblical landscape, its people, and its enduring significance to the Christian faith.

Our History

Early Beginnings (1974)

BII was founded in 1974 with a simple vision: to give Christians the opportunity to experience the land of the Bible firsthand. What started as small group trips to Israel grew into a full educational program that has impacted thousands of lives.

Establishment (1980)

By 1980, BII had formalized its programs and established partnerships with kibbutzim across Israel, creating unique immersive experiences where students could live alongside Israeli families and learn about the culture, language, and daily life of the people of Israel.

Growth and Development

Over the decades, BII has expanded its offerings to include seminar trips for church groups, summer study programs for college students, and ongoing educational resources. The organization continues to adapt and grow while remaining faithful to its founding mission.
